How To Apply

We thank you for considering GLA in searching for a high quality educational offering for your child.  Please find our fee structure, as well as application forms and procedures for the upcoming school year below.

Fee Table

The average cost for educating a student at a comparable private, not-for-profit, school in the GTA is typically over $15,000 per year. Alhamdulillah, with the quality of Islamic and academic education, extra curricular activities and school environment at GLA, we are still able to make Islamic education accessible to our families.

The Application Process

Complete Registration Form

Complete the GLA pre-registration form, ensuring that no fields are left blank

Entrance Test

Prospective students in grade 7 and grade 8 will be invited to complete an entrance exam covering math and english concepts at their current grade level

Interviewing Process

Students and their families will be invited to an interview with the admissions committee. Interview will be centred around students’ intrest in GLA, academic history, and academic goals

School Decision

Assessment results will be communicated to parents via email. The result can be one of  the following:

  1. Admission granted
  2. Conditional admission
  3. Admission declined
  4. Re-assessment required

Create Account and Deposit

Families that are extended offers to join GLA will be given instructions to create an account. Registration is considered complete upon payment for the $500 supply fee

Document Submission

Successful applicants will submit the following supporting documents:

  1. Transcript
  2. Immunization record
  3. Valid government issued photo identification
  4. Proof of address and health card

Fee Details

The above fees are established as yearly tuition. Tuition can be broken up into monthly instalments but supply fees must be paid before the start of the school year

  • A charge of $40.00 for NSF cheques will be applied. Student will not be allowed to attend school until accounts are cleared
  • Please also note that a student withdrawn from school at the beginning, during or at the end of a month for any reason, by parents or by school, will still be responsible for annual tuition
  • International students must pay full tuition fee and all other expenses for the whole year before the first day of school

When To Apply?

Admissions are considered on a rolling basis. Parents are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to secure a seat for their child.
