Imam Khalid Latif is the University Chaplain for New York University, Executive Director of the Islamic Center at NYU, and a Chaplain for the NYPD. He is also the co-founder of Honest Chops, the first-ever all-natural/organic halal butcher in NYC.

Dubbed the “voice of a generation,” Boonaa Mohammed is a critically acclaimed award winning writer and performer with accolades including a playwright residency at Theatre Passe Muraille, a short story published in a Penguin Canada anthology called Piece by Piece and various slam poetry titles including winner of the 2007 CBC Poetry Face-Off “Best New Artist” award.

Sukaina Dada is the Development Officer at The Family and Youth Institute. She is also the founder and president of SMILE Canada – Support Services, an organization dedicated to supporting children living with disabilities and their families. Sukaina completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at McMaster University.

Sumayyah Poonah is the Head of Education and Outreach for Naseeha Mental Health. Naseeha Mental Health provides an anonymous, non-judgmental, confidential, and toll-free peer support helpline to listen to and be there for youth experiencing personal challenges.

Mark Strong is the Toronto Argonauts and Toronto Raptors in-stadium host and hype man. His Talent and charisma landed him the position of permanent host of NBAXL. This national NBA basketball/magazine show broadcasts across Canada and exposes Strong's energy from coast to coast by interviewing players though a basketball culture perspective.

Toronto-based Somali Canadian comedian Hoodo Hersi was recently featured on The Comedy Network's Homegrown Comics. She is also the subject of a recent documentary by TVO called "Stand Up Toronto." Hoodo has performed her comedy across Canada and the US. She recently opened for Hasan Minhaj when he came to Toronto and she will be the host of TedxToronto this October.
